Aliona Vilani is reportedly looking to launch a TV career after quitting Strictly Come Dancing.

Aliona has been a pro dancer on Strictly for the past seven years and became the first pro EVER to win two series at the weekend, lifting the glitterball trophy with Jay McGuiness.

But she announced earlier today it was her last appearance on the BBC One show, telling fans on Twitter: "Going into this Strictly Come Dancing series 13, I decided that no matter what would happen, it will be my last one."

She added: "After 7 years on Strictly Come Dancing, as my finale, this has been my best Strictly experience ever by a long way!"

Despite leaving the show, it seems as though it won't be the last of Aliona we'll see on the telly if things go her way.

"Aliona wants to concentrate on family life and other TV work which doesn’t involve dancing," a source said this week.

The claimed to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I don’t think it will be too long before she appears on a reality show, she is keen to boost her profile and her husband and her management have been aware for a long time that this would be her last appearance.

"She wants to be more than just a dancer on Strictly.”

However Aliona may have some competition as it's been reported that both Ola Jordan and Kristina Rihanoff are also set to depart the series and ALSO launch reality TV careers.

The pair of blonde beauties are both being tipped to appear in the Celebrity Big Brother house in January.
